With the R20, Tige has created a cost effective boat with the same performance hull of the high end boats in the lineup. It still allows for the capability to dial in the perfect sized wake in a high performance boat that can hold her own right alongside the best of the best. She also solves the problem for those that need a smaller boat due to tow vehicle capacities or lake size limit restrictions. She measures in at 20’ (6.1 m) and has an empty weight just over 3,000 lbs. (1,361 kg)

Installed on the Parc Portuaire right by the majestic St-Lawrence river, Quebec's best wakeboarders fought hard for the WAKE DANS' RUE Trois-Rivières title this past Saturday July 26th, under the eyes of one of the largest crowd in the history of the event. A determined Alex Savoie absolutely destroyed the course, and claimed the honors of the event: a well deserved title for the WAKE DANS' RUE veteran. Not too far behind, Benjamin Leclair proved he's one of the best riders in Canada with the right balance of technical and stylish tricks, earning him second. Alexis Roy Perras closed the podium, with a great performance and some extra $$$ for the bar.

This weekend I attended the 15th annual Wake the Desert in San Angelo, Texas. It was the third stop of the Tige Endless Wave Tour and possibly the most fun competition so far. The venue was absolutely perfect! The shore was lined with merchandise tents, delicious food, and even the RedBull Big-T. With music pumping, people smiling, and the sun shining, there was no shortage of fun. The competition course ran right along the shore of a Lake Nasworthy channel which made it easy for spectators to watch and enjoy the high level of wakesurf talent presented this weekend. I got a taste of the Texas heat with the weather in the 90’s and insane humidity the entire trip.

Justin Caskey, two-time cancer survivor, is an inspirational and progressive rider in wakeboarding. He grew up doing all sorts of water sports with his family when he was eleven years old. Around that time his dad bought a Tigé and he started progressing very fast. Unfortunately, he broke his leg when he was thirteen years old, which led to the diagnosis of malignant bone cancer. After a four-year battle, the doctors had to amputate his left hip. However, this didn’t stop his passion for wakeboarding.
