Chris Kinsey Jr. has officially joined the Team Tige Global Wakesurf Team. Chris has been a huge element to bringing popularity to the sport in Texas, as well as across the United States.
Chris has been on the wakesurf scene for sometime, but we really got to know him during our first annual Tige MyWake Global Challenge in October. Chris had submitted a video of him surfing at his home lake and then our team of judges selected him to come out to the live finals in Orlando. (Find out more about Tige MyWake here.)
"Tige is a company and a brand that really exemplifies my style. They’re growing, innovative, and are obviously committed to the wakesurf revolution,” stated Chris Kinsey.
We are excited to bring Chris’ knowledge and expertise onboard for the betterment of our company and to continue developing the sport.
Chris was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, which is just about an hour and a half from the Tige Factory. San Angelo has three surrounding lakes that fed Chris’ dream over the years. He began wakeboarding as a weekend hobby, but soon discovered wakesurfing through a friend. Chris has taught himself all of his tricks on his board and is very determined to continue his progression. Chris’ talents have soared and are carrying him to the top of the podium time after time.
Chris is now a student at Baylor University to get his Bachelors in Business. His dream is to become an entrepreneur in the industry of his unwavering passion: watersports.
Chris will be joining the Team Tige Global Wakesurf team alongside team members Chase Hazen, Ashley Kidd, and Dominic Lagace.
