- Quality Manager - Responsibilities: • Development control plans and maintain for all manufacturing processes. • Process improvements through root cause analysis, and Failure Modes and Effect Analysis. • Tool calibration system. • Develop statistical process control plans. • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). • Development of cost of quality. • Work with vendors to improve their quality. • Receiving Inspection improvements. • Validation of conformance to specifications of incoming product • Perform First Article Inspections. • Supervisory duties - Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. • Green Belt or Black Belt is helpful. • Experience in the following is a plus: Control plan development, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiment, Production part approval process, advanced product quality planning, Geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T). • Familiarity with ABYC/CE/Canadian standards helpful. • Engineering experience in the boating industry helpful. • Software experience: Excel, Microsoft Project, Power Point, and SPC software.
- Marine Industrial Designer Location: Abilene, Texas Job Description: Tige Boats is looking for an industrial designer with marine or transportation experience. Tige is celebrating over 20-years of uncompromising boat design in the wake and towboat industry. We are a family of master craftsmen who have come to Tige from around the world, attracted by the rare and complete freedom to innovate. Our design team is composed of researchers, designers, CAD sculptors, prototype modelers, fabricators, and engineers. We are currently growing our well rounded and passionate product design team with candidates eager to carry on the Tige legacy. Applicants must be willing to move to Tige Boats Headquarters in Abilene, Texas.
