Scotty Broome: Shredding in London

Scotty has shredded the Tige wake all over the world, and describes himself as a “passionate global ambassador for the sport of wakeboarding.” Originally from Australia, Scotty moved to the United States for the King of Wake and US Professional Tours. Scotty now resides in London and travels teaching camps across the world at Tige dealerships.

How long have you been wakeboarding? 15 years.

What would a "perfect day" be to you? I would wake up early with coffee and a newspaper, head down to the dock and out for some morning wake surfing behind my Tige' Z1/Z3, followed by a nice long brunch. Then I would go out for a whole afternoon of riding with a whole bunch of my mates into the evening. I would have a few beers on the way in and a nice BBQ dinner. That's a great day! I'd probably like to then jump in a helicopter and head to snowboard in the Alps or surf in Hawaii, but that might be a bit much for one day!

What are 5 things you can't live without? Wakeboarding, Surfing, Vegemite, Family, and Music

Who inspires you? I have a lot of people that inspire me on a daily basis. My family and friends are all great influences over my life. I thought Felix Baumgartner leaping from space was amazing! Anyone who works that hard for something and carries it out "like a boss" is inspiring no matter what you do.

What’s your favorite movie? Inception, Harley Davidson and The Marlboro Man, Hackers, The Girl movies, James Bond movies, Taken, Old School, Superbad, Get Him to the Greek... I could go on forever. I have seen so, so many good movies!!
